Gadebridge to Piccotts End along the river. Boxmoor Trust grazing land. The Nickey Line toward Redbourn. Berkhamsted Castle to the canal. Aldbury to the monument. Tring Park woodland. Startops circuit. Kings Langley towpath south. Bovingdon to Chipperfield common.
None of these need to be heroic. The Chiltern Way and Hertfordshire Way pass through if you want a stripe on a map. Ordinary loops after work are how a borough is actually used.
